Odd-job worker weds two women at same time

The Star/ANN | Friday, Apr 18, 2014

CHINA - A 32-year-old odd-job worker married two women at the same time in a ceremony in Zhejiang province, China, Nanyang Siang Pau reported.

News and photographs of the event on Sunday at the groom's hometown in Xiangshan had spread like wild fire on the Internet.

The pictiures show the groom - identified only as Shi - in a light purple jacket over a black T-shirt and a pair of black slacks while his brides both wore red wedding gowns. Soon after the wedding, Shi left his hometown to an undisclosed city.

He is expected to find himself in hot soup as the authorities now know of the case, as the country's marriage laws forbid polygamy.
