Man charged for punching jazz singer

Peter Aaron Jeremicjczyk, an Australian expat was charged in court on 4 September 2014 for allegedly punching a local jazz singer in the face.

A Singapore permanent resident was charged yesterday for punching a jazz singer in Sentosa.

Peter Aaron Jeremicjczyk , 38, was alleged to have punched Ms Dawn Ho Yi Wen (inset), 34, at the Beach Station.

The incident was said to have occurred at around 9.20pm on March 9.

Jeremicjczyk will be claiming trial. A pre-trial conference is scheduled on Sept 9.

If Jeremicjczyk is found guilty of voluntary causing hurt, he can be jailed up to two years and fined a maximum of $5,000.
