No papers, so trio rape woman

The Star/ANN | Friday, Sep 26, 2014

KOTA KINABALU - An encounter with a policeman and two other uniformed personnel became a traumatic experience for a 21-year-old woman.

When she could not produce her identification documents, the police constable, a Civil Defence Department personnel and a Rela volunteer took her to a hotel room in the east coast Sandakan district.

The men, aged between 27 and 37, allegedly took turns to rape her in the Sept 22 incident.

Two days later, the woman went to the Sandakan police station to report the crime.

Sabah Police Criminal Investigation Department chief Senior Asst Comm Salehhudin Abdul Rahman said the three men were arrested yesterday.
