Teen held for alleged outrage of modesty

The New Paper | Saturday, May 24, 2014

A 16-year-old male teen has been arrested for suspected involvement in several cases of outrage of modesty.

The police had received several reports of female victims being molested in Choa Chu Kang between March and this month.

Officers from Jurong Police Division nabbed the suspect in an ambush in the vicinity of Chua Chu Kang Street 51 at about 2.50am yesterday.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the teenager is believed to be involved in at least four molest cases, said the police in a statement yesterday.

He will be charged in court today.
