Tomorrow is the final chance for you to get into The New Paper New Face 2014.

The walk-in audition for this modelling competition, now in its 22nd year, will be held at Bugis+. Registration begins at 2pm.

The girls who impress the panel of judges - including New Face 2006 finalist and current Miss Asia Pacific World Singapore Poojaa Gill and herworldPLUS editor Niki Bruce - will move on to the closed-door audition on July 5.

This year, the age restriction has been removed, so more women have a chance to win the title.

The New Paper New Face 2014 is presented by Subaru Motor Image, with official apparel by Levi's, and official footwear and accessories by New Look.

The title comes with a $10,000 cash prize and an exclusive feature in Her World magazine. The finalists will get their own fashion spread, including one shot at Bintan Lagoon Resort.

How do you make an impression?

Not by making funny poses or wearing too much make-up, according to those who took part last year. It's about projecting yourself.

Here are five ways to impress, according to last year's New Face finalists.

Aprile Marangos, 16, said: "No funny poses or anything too over-the-top. Just a simple walk in front of the judges."

Humaira Masjol, 21, agreed.

The Lasalle College of the Arts student said: "Don't exaggerate your catwalk and pose. It gives a bad impression."

Felecia Lie, 19, who won the Miss Popularity subsidiary title, said: "Don't apply too much make-up."

Lie, a Temasek Polytechnic student, added: "I hope the girls practise their catwalks and best smiles. Make eye contact so they'll notice you, and look very friendly."

Clarissa Teo, 21, agreed: "Keep smiling. The judges will notice girls with a good smile."

Teo suggested: "Don't wear too-short shorts and try to wear a strapless bra."

Lie said: "Don't wear uncomfortable heels - you have to walk very well."

Humaira Masjol stressed: "Just relax and be yourself, and have confidence."

Marangos added: "Don't go without eating, you need to be energised. Drink lots of water and get a full night's rest."
