Foreigners peddle lifelike sex dolls in Malaysia

Foreigners are brazenly promoting sex dolls that cost up to RM1,000 (S$392), reported Kosmo!.

The toys, made in Taiwan and Japan, are said to come with body temperature and can even produce noises.

A man, who wanted to be known only as Zainal, said he was shocked to see different types of the dolls being promoted by foreigners to male customers.

He also said that banners advertising the sex dolls were even hung on lampposts.

According to Zainal, foreigners would approach customers on the pretext of selling leather goods but if there was no interest shown, the salesmen would then pull out images of the sexy dolls.

"Some of the nude dolls even resemble international models, and they are shown to us via video on the foreigners' mobile phones," he said.

The daily's reporter, who went undercover to purchase the dolls, found out that the items were delivered directly to the buyers.

"These dolls have a voice and smell nice. That is why they are expensive," said a salesman known as Ricky, adding that they were also sold on social media sites such as Instagram and Facebook.
