Myanmar nationals found murdered in two incidents

KLANG - A man believed to be a Myanmar was found dead with bruises all over the body and his legs tied together along Jalan Goh Hock Huat here.

North Klang OCPD Asst Comm Shukor Sulong said the bruises indicated that the victim, in his 20s, had been abused.

"Initial investigations revealed that he had been dead for about six hours before police arrived. We believe he was killed elsewhere and then dumped here."

"We didn't find any documents on him and are still trying to establish his identity, " he said.

The body has been sent to the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital.

In Bukit Mertajam, a man was found dead with multiple stab and slash wounds on the neck and body in a secondary jungle beside a road leading to Kampung Tok Panjang near Taman Nagasari.

A villager called the police after coming across the body at about 9.15am yesterday.

The unidentified man, in his 30s, is believed to be from Myanmar.

Several foreigners working in the area were brought in to identify the deceased but to no avail.
