Student killed as motorcycle skids and lands on grave

MALACCA - A 19-year-old college student died when he lost control of his motorcycle and landed on a grave in the Jalan Lendu Muslim cemetery in Alor Gajah.

In the incident early Saturday morning, Muhammad Faiz Akmal Mohd Radzali from Arau, Perlis, died due severe head injuries when he hit the tombstone on the grave.

He was found lying on the grave together with his motorcycle.

Muhammad Faiz Akmal was studying agriculture in a local government-linked college.

A traffic police spokesman said Muhammad Faiz Akmal was believed to have lost control of his motorcycle at a sharp corner near the burial ground.

"The victim is believed to have been flung and landed on the grave after ramming into the burial ground fencing," he said.
