PETALING JAYA - An 18-year-old girl who died from a fall here is said to have told onlookers in her dying moments that she had been shoved from the 15th floor of an apartment block.

The teenager, known only as Gita, purportedly fell onto the roof of a stationary Proton Saga at about 5.15pm yesterday but did not die instantly.

She was pronounced dead on arrival at Universiti Malaya Medical Centre.

A resident of Desa Mentari Apartment in Kampung Medan said the girl had told onlookers that she was pushed by another person from the 15th floor.

Meanwhile, Gita's brother, who declined to be named, said she had not been facing any problems.

It is learnt that Gita, the fourth of five children, left school at 13 and had worked in a convenience store nearby.
