Musician Alicia Keys performs on ABC's "Good Morning America" at Rumsey Playfield on August 30, 2013 in New York City.

PETALING JAYA - American R&B singer Alicia Keys said she "can't wait" to perform live in Kuala Lumpur on Nov 27 as part of her Set The World On Fire tour.

"I love touring and being able to share my music with fans around the world. I love connecting with my fans," she said in a statement.

Fresh from her sold-out North American and European legs of the tour, the concert will be held at the Putra Indoor Stadium in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.

It will feature songs from Keys' latest album Girl On Fire and her other well-known works.

She will be accompanied by a full band, including backing vocals and dancers.

Girl On Fire debuted at the top of the Billboard Top 200 charts last year and has now become the best-selling R&B album in the United States.

The 14-time Grammy Award-winning songwriter and producer came into the spotlight in 2001 when her debut single Fallin' topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Keys is not only known for her soulful vocal but also her songwriting abilities after penning hits such as If I Ain't Got You, Karma and No One.

Keys last played in Kuala Lumpur in October 2004.

Tickets for the concert will go on sale on Sept 12 at 10.30am and can be purchased at all authorised TicketPro outlets. Call 03-7880 7999 for more information.
