Why This
Matters
The weekend is here again, which makes our Party Girl oh-so-happy because she gets to paint the town red and share her recommendations with you. Let's go!

This weekend has a bit of an underground feel to it.

Start it on Friday with some vinyl celebration.

An event group called Gimme Shelter is partying up for their fourth anniversary at The Hideaway which is at Circular Road.

Enjoy an eclectic range of music from rocksteady to disco, motown and garage rock.

It's $10 on the door.

Also on Friday, as well as Saturday, is the third anniversary of Altimate on level 61 of 1 Raffles Place.

There are having an Urban Jungle party with a high-octane mix of hip hop and EDM over the two nights with local and Dutch DJs.

Cover is $40 with two drinks, but honestly, get on guestlist if you want to attend.

Also on Saturday is a night called Sub City which will feature high quality drum & bass and jungle music by Singapore's rawest DJs.

It's $10 cover on level 2 of Piedra Negra on Haji Lane.

If you don't know, now you know.

To catch Simi the Party Girl, listen to her on OneFM's #1 Breakfast Show with Glenn Ong and The Flying Dutchman on Thursday mornings.
