SINGAPORE - Avril Lavigne and new hubby Chad Kroeger seem inseparable, and even busy tour schedules cannot keep them apart.
The blissful Canadian rock couple got hitched on July 1 at a medieval castle in the south of France.
"We both go back and forth, either he flies to see me or I will go and see him. We'll find each other at strange corners of the world," Lavigne told The New Paper in a telephone interview on Saturday, as her tour bus took her to her next tour destination in Missouri in the US.
Kroeger, 39, is on tour in South Africa with his band, Nickelback.
When The New Paper spoke to Lavigne, 29, in Hong Kong in August before her showcase there, Kroeger was also present to support his wife.
Will he be in town when Lavigne performs here in February?
"Yes, I think so. The plan was for him to come and sing Let Me Go (their duet off her latest self-titled album)," she said.
But that was as much as we were allowed to pry when it comes to Kroeger.
When asked if they were a romantic couple, Lavigne would offer only a simple and hesitant "yes". She refused to elaborate and said she would rather not discuss her personal life.
