Rapper Iggy Azalea.

Rappers are known for getting into fights and courting controversies.

But Iggy Azalea (right) has taken to Instagram to explain her side of the story regarding a video clip which appears to show her trying to ram a paparazzo with a shopping cart.

The clip, uploaded on YouTube, shows Azalea having a heated argument with the photographer as she goes into a supermarket in California, on the US west coast.

As she continues to trade insults with the him, Azalea uses expletives on the man for taking pictures of her despite her repeatedly asking him not to.

The woman with her appears to spit on the photographer during the heated exchange, reported MTV.com

Azalea runs her shopping cart up to the man after she is heard saying: "I hope you have Ebola. I hope you die."

On Instagram, Azalea explains what we allegedly did not see in the video,

"Judge me for spazzing (losing control) if you like but you only saw the 30sec aftermath which was classy in comparison to what he said to us inside the grocery store where we discovered him lying on the floor after we had repeatedly and politely asked him to leave multiple locations during the course of the day."
