Yesterday, the 34-year-old singer held an eight-hour long wedding reception in Johor for over 2,000 guests, including his family and friends from Singapore.
They only met twice but six months after knowing each other, Singapore Idol Hady Mirza married his 21-year-old Malaysian bride, Ms Nurjannah Nur Wahid, in a private ceremony organised by her family at their kampung in Pontian, Johor on March 1.

In an earlier report on Stomp, Hype Records, Hady Mirza's record company, confirmed that the Singapore Idol 2 winner, 34, got married on Saturday, March 1.
According to an article in The Straits Times Communities, friends of Hady, contacted by Life!, also said he had his marriage solemnised in Malaysia. They do not know the identity of the bride.
Berita Harian however, has reported that the bride is from Pontian, Johor. Not much is known about his wife except that she goes by the name Nur Jannah.
The also report stated that the couple flew to the Maldives for their honeymoon, March 3.
The statement from Hype Records said: "Hady Mirza was married yesterday and he would like to keep this special occasion private. We wish him a wonderful marriage."
It also quoted Hady as thanking his fans for their congratulatory wishes and blessings.
The singer said through his record company: "I have finally found someone I would like to spend the rest of my life with. To fans, the media and all who have supported me, thank you for the well-wishes."
He has taken a step back from the limelight in recent months, turning his attentions to FRHM Youth, a local organisation promoting a Muslim education and way of life among youth which he co-founded last year.
