SINGAPORE - More than 60 teams of dancers will be competing in a three-day competition starting on Thursday.

DanceWorks! is organised by the National Council Against Drug Abuse (NCADA) and Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB), it will be held at the Joyden Hall at level 7 of Bugis+ mall.

Teams will be judged on choreography, showmanship and clarity of the anti-drug theme in their dance, said the organisers in a statement today.

An anti-drug exhibition will be held at the same time at the level 2 atrium in the mall. There'll also be activities and games at the exhibition.

Mr Ng Ser Song, Director CNB, said: "These collaborations are important as we are able to involve the community, especially the youths, in sharing about the serious consequences of drug abuse. We see great value in involving the youths themselves, as they know best what would resonate with their peers."
