Madam Wang Wan Jin, 31, was found dead in her Jurong West home, lying in a pool of blood from her stab wound. A knife was found next to her.

SINGAPORE - It was a horrific sight for her husband and two-year-old son to come home to.

Madam Wang Wan Jin, 31, was found lying on the kitchen floor in a pool of blood when the pair returned home at around 7pm.

She was pronounced dead on the scene by paramedics at around 7.30pm on Monday in her 11th-storey unit at Block 653A, Jurong West Street 61.

Her mother, who is in her 60s, spoke to reporters from Chinese evening daily Lianhe Wanbao yesterday morning at the mortuary.

She said: "The police told me my daughter had a wound in her abdominal area and a knife was placed next to her."

Police have classified it as a case of unnatural death.
