Sales exec jailed over upskirt videos

The New Paper | Saturday, Aug 9, 2014

A 25-year-old man who recorded upskirt videos of two women in a supermarket was jailed for four weeks yesterday.

Senior sales and marketing executive Leon Liang Yiwei, had pleaded guilty to one of two charges.

On April 12 this year, he had placed his mobile phone in a shopping basket to record an unknown Caucasian woman, and then a 26-year-old woman at The Market Place in Paragon shopping centre, reported The Straits Times online.

He was stopped by a loss prevention officer who had been observing him and the police were called.

Liang could have been jailed for up to a year and/or fined for insulting the modesty of a woman.
