Get drip coffee with less hassle

SoShiok | Sunday, Jul 13, 2014

SINGAPORE - Want to brew your own coffee at home, but don't like the hassle of washing ground coffee from your machine?

Here is an alternative to brewing drip coffee - One Fresh Cup's mobile drip coffee brewer.

It is a handy contraption with hangers that fit over the mouth of your cup. The opening of the filter is wide enough to give "breathing" room when brewing, and narrow enough to fit in regular coffee mugs.

You would need a bit of patience to wait for the coffee to drip through the filter. Do take care not to pour too much water otherwise it will overflow.

Each sachet of coffee is for a single use and contains 100 per cent fresh ground coffee. All coffee beans are packed within 12 hours of grinding and then nitrogen-flushed before it is sealed to maintain freshness, said One Fresh Cup in a statement.

It comes in six flavours - our favourite is the Sumatra Roast. It is slightly acidic, with a mild roasted taste. When we brewed the coffee, the smell of the coffee attracted caffeine-lovers who wanted a cup as well.

A box of 50 servings (S$60) can be purchased directly from its website: http://www.onefreshcup.com.sg. Shipping to Singapore is free.
