A SYNDICATE used a second-hand car company as a front for its vice-activities, reported Sin Chew Daily.

It was reported that the call girls would be introduced as the car owners to potential clients, in a move to avoid detection.

The daily reported that a car salesman, believed to be working for the syndicate, would send out SMSes to potential clients to "test drive" their new second-hand models in Singapore. Canteen hawker Feng Mei Yun, 26, said she had received at least five of such SMSes over the past three months.

"I was shocked when I learnt the salesman was actually pushing a sex deal rather than proposing to sell the vehicles," said Feng.

She added that among the car owners introduced by the salesman were kindergarten teachers, beauticians and even secondary school students.
