KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA: Police arrested two men and seized about one million pirated compact discs valued at RM5 million in a raid on a bungalow in Jalan 2/22, Pandan Perdana, last night.

Ampang police chief Assistant Commissioner Abd Jalil Hassan said the raid was conducted at 6.20pm.

"My men posed as customers to gather intelligence on the syndicate, which had been operating for the past three months."

He said the four entrances of the bungalow were monitored with closed-circuit television cameras.

Jalil said the two men arrested, aged 30 and 32, were believed to be the caretaker of the house and a worker.

"We also found a sales log book with a list of buyers. We will use it to track down the syndicate's clients."

He said this was the district police's largest raid on pirated CDs this year.
