#10: Woman's face brutally stabbed in Yishun

A 24-YEAR-OLD woman suffered a C-shaped open wound on her right cheek while jogging along Khatib Bongsu Park Connector at Yishun Avenue 9.

She was brutally stabbed by an unknown local Chinese man at about 11am last Tuesday. Her neck, upper arm and back also sustained multiple cuts.

Her assailant is believed to be in his 30s, and about 1.7m tall, with a tanned complexion...more.

A MAN was murdered and a teenager had a few of his fingers hacked off in multiple violent attacks that took place in the Kallang area early yesterday morning.

The four incidents - clustered within a 2km-wide zone - were reported to the police over a span of seven hours from midnight yesterday. In all the cases, the victims were slashed.

#8: Bus driver rapes schoolgirl in front of other kids

MALAYSIA - A school bus driver allegedly raped a 10-year-old girl in full view of other pupils in the bus.

A kindergarten teacher who was passing by heard screams for help and alerted members of the public, who caught the 51-year-old driver red-handed. The teacher tried to pull the girl away from the suspect. There was a struggle and the commotion attracted two passing policemen.

#7: Rapist pastes victim's nude photos in her village

A 26-year-old Chinese woman's nightmare started five years ago when she was raped by the canteen operator of her school.

"He took me to a motel on the pretext of introducing a job to me. Instead, he raped me there," said Chen XiaoLi (not her real name).

Since then, Chen had been 'controlled' by the 40-year-old rapist, surnamed Zhang, who threatened to reveal the rape to the public if she went against his commands..more.

#6: Woman tried making love to burglar

A woman tried making love to a burglar, mistaking the intruder for her husband, in Changsha, capital of Hunan province, last Wednesday, the Xiaoxiang Morning Post reports.

The woman, surnamed Qiu, woke up when she heard someone enter the room and threw herself on the person, thinking it was her husband.

#5: Model may have been shot dead: police

BANGKOK - Police suspect a sexy model found dead yesterday in her luxury condominium in Bangkok's Huay Khwang district may have been murdered and are checking security cameras for a possible killer.

The body of FHM 2008 model Sasithorn "Pik" Onwimol, 28, was found with a gunshot wound to the right temple on her bed covered with a blanket to the chest.

#4: Man admits to tainting colleagues' drinking water with semen

Sim Keng Tee, 35, pleaded guilty on Wednesday afternoon to two charges of mischief where he tainted two of his female colleagues' drinking water with his semen.

This was two of 10 offences he pleaded guilty to in court. The names of victims were not revealed to protect their identities.

The civilian officer in the Singapore Police Force mixed semen into his colleagues' drinking water on two separate occasions in 2008 at his office along Irrawady Road. He has since been relieved of his position in the police force...more.

#3: Woman dies after fatal stabbing at Woodlands Drive

A 32-YEAR-OLD woman has died after she was stabbed at a basketball court in Woodlands Drive on Wednesday night.

Ms Hoe Hong Lin, a permanent resident (PR) from Malaysia, was pronounced dead at the scene after paramedics found her at Blk 895C Woodlands Drive 50, following a call to the police at around 10.55pm.

According to family members, she had been in a heated argument with her husband's co-worker at a neighbourhood Mid-Autumn celebration held earlier in the evening, the Shin Min Daily News reported...more.

#2: Naked body found in pool

Singapore - THE naked body of a young Chinese woman was found drowned in a lap pool of a bungalow in an exclusive residential estate in Sentosa Cove on Wednesday morning.

The body of Chinese national Ms Li Hong Yan, 24, was found by a maid who was cleaning the three-storey house along Ocean Drive at about 8.30am.

SIX students have been hospitalised after suffering injuries from yet another gang-related slashing incident.
