He said PKR legal bureau chief Gooi Hsiao Leung and Dr Azman Ismail would contest in the Alor Setar and Kuala Kedah parliamentary seats respectively.
Dr Azman, who is Kuala Kedah PKR division chief, will replace Datuk Ahmad Kassim, who will contest a state seat.
Gooi lost to MCA's Datuk Seri Chor Chee Heung with a majority of 184 votes in the 2008 general election while Ahmad won the Kuala Kedah seat after beating Barisan Nasional candidate Datuk Hashim Jahaya with a majority of 7,018 votes.
