Counselling centres are now harnessing technology as a way to reach out to youth. Some ways include:

BLOGS
A local blog portal offers online counselling for youth at http://www.egen.sg/
A team of six counsellors monitor the blogs regularly and offer advice.

E-MAIL
Coalition Against Bullying for Children and Youths offers a service where youth can e-mail their problems anonymously to enquiry_cabcy@hrtd.com.sg. A reply will arrive in their inbox shortly after.

SHORT MESSAGE SERVICE (SMS)
Babes, a programme that helps unwed mothers, is an SMS service for girls who need advice in a hurry. SMS: 8111-3535. Website: http://www.babes.org.sg/
