THE stretch of road on Punggol Way between Punggol Central and lamppost number 82 will be closed to traffic on Sunday from 5am to 1pm.

This is to accommodate the Singapore Amateur Cycling Association Criterium II 2008, a cycling time trial. Auxiliary police officers will be deployed at affected road junctions, said a Police statement on Friday.

Parking restrictions along the peripheral roads will be strictly enforced and vehicles parked indiscriminately will be towed away.
