Dr Tan Cheng Bock will hold his presidential rally on Thursday evening. His speakers will be 'ordinary Singaporeans', and he promises a different vibe from the rallies held during the May General Election.

The rally will be held on Thursday, August 25 at Singapore Expo Hall 8 from 7pm to 10pm.

His rally will be different, he assured. He empahised that he does not want rowdiness, and wants it to be a "dignified gathering".

He revealed that his speakers are ordinary people, including young people, as well as his own children - his son, Joshua and his daughter Ming Li.

"I don’t want people to go there and talk about the price of housing, health care and transport. This is out of bounds. You have to talk about our country - what do you want for Singapore?"
