MOSCOW - THE trial of suspects charged in connection with the 2006 murder of Russian investigative journalist and Kremlin critic Anna Politkovskaya began in a Moscow military court on Monday.
'We are beginning the examination of the case,' Judge Yevgeny Zubov said, opening the proceedings in central Moscow in which none of the four defendants is charged with being the actual killer. -- AFP
