Miss Koh Pei Ern, 17, does her part to help Republic Polytechnic take a giant leap into the Guinness Book of World Records and the Singapore Book of Records.
Miss Koh, who will be starting the first year of her diploma course in civil aviation on Monday, was one of 1,320 students who hopped and smashed the world record - for the most number of participants in a leapfrog event.
The old record was set by 1,197 leapfroggers in Germany in 2006.
The record-breaking event yesterday was organised as part of the students' orientation programme before the new semester. Republic Poly now has the distinction of being the first polytechnic listed in both record books.
