MR DANIEL LAW: 'I refer to the hosting of getai events (live stage shows) in housing estates which last beyond 10pm.

'This is when students are sitting for important examinations.

'Students will be grateful to have some quiet time to revise for their O- and A-level exams.

'University students are also studying for their term exams.

'I appeal to the authorities to exercise more sensitivity when approving permits for such events.

'They should be relocated to multipurpose halls, where the noise volume can be controlled.'
