World-renowned scholars will be meeting in Singapore this week in a three-day conference to discuss innovative ways to facilitate teaching and learning.
Organised by the National Institute of Education (NIE), the second Asia-Pacific Educational Research Association (APERA) will see about 1000 participants from 39 countries in attendance.
Speakers include Professor Julian Elliott from Durham University, England and Professor Colin N. Power, former Deputy-Director General of the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation.
Ms Grace Fu, Senior Minister of State will be the guest-of-honour for the opening ceremony on Nov 26th.
