JAPAN - A 46-year-old middle school teacher has been arrested on suspicion of unlawful entry after he entered a girls toilet in the school he was teaching to install a spy camera, police said.

Arrested was Yoshinori Murayama, of Matsudo, Chiba Prefecture, who teaches at the municipal-run Tokiwamatsu Middle School in Nagareyama in the prefecture.

According to the police, the suspect entered the second-floor girls toilet between 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Saturday to install a video camera to record surreptitious shots. Murayama was in charge of a supplementary class at the time, but the police believe he slipped out of the classroom and installed the video camera.
