KATHMANDU, NEPAL - POLICE in Nepal's capital on Tuesday detained at least 200 Tibetan exiles as they staged a demonstration outside a Chinese embassy building, officials said.

The protesters, mostly monks and nuns, screamed 'China liar, Free Tibet', 'Stop the killing in Tibet' and other slogans as they were bundled into waiting vans and trucks, an AFP reporter at the scene said.
