SINGAPORE-listed fuel trader Chemoil Energy said on Monday it has appointed a new chief executive after the firm's founder and former chief executive Robert Chandran died in a helicopter crash.
Mr Clyde Michael Bandy, who had served as an independent director at Chemoil since August 2006, has been appointed as the chairman and chief executive, Chemoil said.
Mr Bandy had worked at Texaco for 27 years, and was previously the president of Fuel and Marine Marketing LLC, a joint venture between Texaco and Chevron , Chemoil said in a statement. -- REUTERS
