BANGKOK, THAILAND - Thai share prices closed 0.86 per cent higher Wednesday in light trade as investors stayed on the sidelines waiting to see if a political deadlock in the kingdom could be broken, dealers said.
The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) composite index gained 3.37 points to close at 395.22 points while the bluechip SET-50 added 3.88 points to finish at 274.24 points.
