According to the Hong Kong media, singer cum actor Edison Chen who left the country for a period of 453 days after the eruption of his nude photo scandal has returned from Los Angeles.

As his father Chen Chak Man was declared bankrupt, Edison had to return to Hong Kong to handle the business proceedings in his father's company.

Edison left the country after holding a press conference announcing his departure from the entertainment industry.

During this period, he received many "global death threats".

When asked for his statement pertaining to the photo scandal, he insisted that the interrogation be held in Canada.

In the regional promotion of his latest movie "The Sniper", he agreed only to coming to Singapore, avoiding other Asian countries.

However, following the arrest of the technician who exposed the nude photos, Edison finally took a risk by returning to Hong Kong.

Before his return, he notified local authorities to ensure his personal safety.

Around 8am on May 27, Edison was seen to arrive at the airport without any bodyguards.

Instead of shunning the media or taking an alternative route to his hotel suite, he simply remained silent.

According to a few Hong Kong reporters, Edison looked slightly fatter than he was in Singapore and spent the whole day in his hotel room engaged in meetings with the company's employees.

Edison's personal assistant Pat told the Hong Kong media that Edison was in a very good mood and had returned to Hong Kong mainly to discuss the company's business proceedings and set a direction for the company's future expansion.
