Malaysia to launch reality show for aspiring tycoons

PETALING JAYA, MALAYSIA - A Malaysian-based reality show, named The Entrepreneur, will soon make the dreams of an aspiring tycoon come true.
The show, created and hosted by television and radio personality Ernie Chen, will feature eight contestants in a battle to win RM10,000 (S$4,100) to start his or her own business.
Chen is also founder and group chief executive officer of ATCEN Group of Companies.
The winner of the show will be crowned "The Entrepreneur" and be guided by Chen to becoming a successful entrepreneur.
The show, produced by outLOUD Studios Sdn Bhd, will be conducted in an elimination-style format, where contestants will go through a series of challenges against each other.
The contest is expected to make its debut over the Internet in April and can be viewed by logging onto the show?s website or YouTube.

Applications should be in by March 15 and shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
