Follow Rachel Zoe as she dresses A-list stars
Joy Fang reviews the American reality-docudrama,
The Rachel Zoe Project. -myp
By: Joy Fang FASHION has never been more fun and juicy than on American reality-docudrama, The Rachel Zoe Project, especially when it's about something we all care about: The Golden Globes awards. In the first episode of the second season, cameras follow American fashion stylist Rachel Zoe as she struggles to find dresses for her A-list celebrity clients, such as Demi Moore, Camerson Diaz, Eva Mendez and Anne Hathaway, for the Golden Globe awards earlier this year. It is amusing to watch a harried Zoe teeter on the verge of a breakdown as endless obstacles hit her just days before the show. She has to deal with missing outfits, out-of-season dresses and costumes that look like they belong in the trash. In the end, though, you can't help but sympathise with her. After all, you can't fault her for her almost child-like ideals. "Every dress has a home and I'd like to be the one to give it a home," she says.
