Malaysians' move a letdown but most say it has little effect on Games. -ST

AS THEY say in the entertainment business, the show must go on.

Despite Malaysia's decision not to send the bulk of their 79-strong contingent to the Asian Youth Games (AYG) here, there will be minimal disruption to the nine-day event, say organisers.

Teams facing Malaysian opposition will be given a walkover, while in individual events, the absentees will be removed from the starting list.
