KUWAIT CITY: An open skies agreement between Singapore and Kuwait signed yesterday will allow passenger and freight carriers of both countries to operate any number of air services between them - and beyond.

The signing ceremony at the Seif Palace, overlooking the turquoise waters of the Persian Gulf, also saw officials inking two other agreements on cooperation: one in e-government, and the other between the foreign ministries.

The Memorandums of Understanding signed on the second day of President S R Nathan's state visit to Kuwait open the way for further exchanges between the two countries.
