TRADERS were thrown off their stride yesterday when computer glitches at the Singapore Exchange caused a lag in price updates and order processing.

All dealing houses were affected, Brokers from DBS Vickers, Kim Eng Securities and OCBC Securities said the problem started in the late morning and dragged on for most of the trading day.

An SGX announcement in the early afternoon cited problems with 'network connectivity'.
