Family grieves as body of Bangladeshi who died of chickenpox arrives home

UNTIL he came to work in Singapore two months ago, Mr Mohd Kamaluddin had never left his home country, Bangladesh.

Yesterday, the 28-year-old returned home for good - in a coffin.

His brother, Mr Mohd Shamsul Haq, a 48-year-old farmer, told The Straits Times, in Bengali: 'We are grief-stricken...We never thought we would see this day. He was my little brother. He was hardly ill. Only Allah knows what happened.'
